We were on Facebook today and came across these amazing photos of a man on a stand up paddle board watching a huge whale breach just 50 yards away. That is one of the beautiful things about SUP. You can paddle far out in the ocean and be on a stable board with a great viewpoint. There aren’t as many whale sightings here in southern california, but you’ll still see sea life that no land dwellers would see without a paddleboard.
